Highlighted as “Austin’s busiest personal shopper” by WWD, Paula Lundgren is a professional closet and wardrobe consultant who holds a Bachelor of Science in Clothing and Textiles from the University of Texas at Austin. She has over 25 years of fashion industry experience, including stints at Neiman Marcus (Dallas), Macy’s (Herald Square, New York), and more. From retailer dressing rooms to home closets, she has honed her skills over the years helping people identify and develop their own personal style to put forth a better version of themselves. With a keen eye and knowledge on trends, Paula works hard to update and organize closets and outfit individuals with what looks best on them.
Lundgren began her career in personal shopping back in 1990 after the boutique she was working at closed its doors. While employed by the boutique, she realized at least 25% of her income was coming from styling and advising clients on her days off. Thus began her profitable agency, Paula Lundgren Wardrobe, Inc. Since launching, Lundgren has built an extensive (500-plus) client roster similar to a who’s who list of the Austin’s socialites, executives (men and women), and spouses.
Based in Austin, Texas, Lundgren caters mainly to local clients of all ages, but she has also been tapped by numerous non-locals from cities around the country who venture to town to utilize her services. Paula has strong a reputation and has developed working relationships with stores from across Austin. A few noteworthy retailers include: Adelante, By George, Garden Room, Julian Gold, Kick Pleat, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Red Bird, Sunroom, Valentine’s Too, and more.
She has been quoted and featured in several publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Women's Wear Daily (WWD), Austin American-Statesman, Texas Monthly, Tribeza and Austin Chronicle, to name a few.
Each season, Paula sends out fun, vintage-inspired postcards to her clients and fans featuring new fashion trends and tips. Anyone interested in receiving these updates can click here to sign-up!
